Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain custom Onshape features in FeatureScript for production use.
- Augment Onshape workflows by building tooling and integrating with external systems via APIs.
- Expand capabilities of the modeling MCP built on Onshape APIs.
- Collaborate with design engineering to identify pain points and implement solutions.
- Build automation for MEP constraints and device placement.
- Create automated code-compliance checks for design elements.
- Work with interdisciplinary teams to enhance efficiency across design and manufacturing.
Requirements
- BS in mechanical, civil, electrical engineering, or computer science.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with parametric design tools.
- Experience building custom features in Onshape using FeatureScript.
- General coding experience, preferably in Go, Python, or C#.
- Experience using coding agents for rapid prototyping.
