Responsibilities
- Design and execute manual test plans for new features and releases.
- Build and maintain unit, integration, and end-to-end automated test suites.
- Perform exploratory testing to identify edge cases and unexpected issues.
- Integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines to catch regressions early.
- Test AI agent outputs for accuracy, consistency, and reliability.
- Collaborate with engineers to define test coverage and quality standards.
- Document bugs clearly and help prioritize fixes.
- Establish QA best practices as the team grows.
Requirements
- Proven experience with both manual testing and test automation.
- Strong experience building automated test frameworks with Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, or similar tools.
- Experience testing web applications and APIs.
- Experience testing AI/ML systems or non-deterministic outputs.
- Experience testing smart contracts or blockchain applications.
- Ability to identify edge cases and issues from both user and security perspectives.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integrating tests into deployment workflows.
- Comfort working in an early-stage, fast-moving environment.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
- Prior experience in biotech, research tools, or scientific software is a plus.
- Contributions to open-source testing tools or frameworks are a plus.
