Base Salary
$165k - $261k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, integrate, refactor, and maintain software for existing and upcoming product features.
- Perform cybersecurity software and systems engineering for secure network products.
- Develop embedded systems software and high-speed scalable network software, including protocols, device drivers, and data-plane components.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to clarify requirements and support development, integration, automation, testing, and product certification.
- Plan, track, and report on project progress.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience using C/C++ in embedded environments.
- 10+ years of experience designing and developing network software.
- 7+ years of experience using Linux, ideally in embedded environments.
- Proven experience with the Linux network stack and writing Linux kernel modules.
- Demonstrated experience with networking protocols such as TCP/IP, IPSec, MACsec, and TLS.
- Experience with object-oriented software development, CI/CD software, and Agile Scrum development.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- US citizenship, an active DoD Secret clearance, and ability to travel up to 10%.
- Preferred experience includes DPDK, network applications and services, Xilinx Vivado, Petalinux, bare-metal embedded device drivers, NIOS, ARM, RISC-V, multithreaded and real-time development, RESTConf interface design and implementation, emulation environments, Python, and standalone embedded applications.
Benefits
- Base salary is listed at $165,000.00-$260,500.00 annually, with a higher stated range for certain locations.
- Additional cash or stock incentives and medical, financial, and other benefits may be provided depending on the position.
- The role may require travel of up to 10%.
