Base Salary
$141k - $222k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, deliver, and support software for embedded satellite terminal products.
- Participate in software design, development, code reviews, and quality initiatives.
- Collaborate with software engineers and teams to coordinate timely delivery of quality software.
- Produce software as an individual contributor.
- Travel up to 10%.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or equivalent degree in computer science or computer engineering.
- 5–8 years of hands-on software development experience using C/C++.
- Proven experience with Linux/UNIX and object-oriented software development.
- Strong analytical and software design evaluation skills, including working with existing codebases.
- Experience using AI tooling in software development.
- Ability to collaborate and communicate in a team environment, with strong ownership, learning agility, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
- Preferred experience with C/C++, Linux, embedded systems, unit and component testing, Python functional testing, networking and communications systems, Git, and GitHub Actions.
- Knowledge of operating-system fundamentals, including IPC and multithreading primitives.
