Base Salary

$141k - $222k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, deliver, and support software for embedded satellite terminal products.
  • Participate in software design, development, code reviews, and quality initiatives.
  • Collaborate with software engineers and teams to coordinate timely delivery of quality software.
  • Produce software as an individual contributor.
  • Travel up to 10%.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or equivalent degree in computer science or computer engineering.
  • 5–8 years of hands-on software development experience using C/C++.
  • Proven experience with Linux/UNIX and object-oriented software development.
  • Strong analytical and software design evaluation skills, including working with existing codebases.
  • Experience using AI tooling in software development.
  • Ability to collaborate and communicate in a team environment, with strong ownership, learning agility, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
  • Preferred experience with C/C++, Linux, embedded systems, unit and component testing, Python functional testing, networking and communications systems, Git, and GitHub Actions.
  • Knowledge of operating-system fundamentals, including IPC and multithreading primitives.
