Full Stack Engineer
Remote PeopleResponsibilities
- Develop and maintain web applications using React and TypeScript on the front end and Java or Python on the back end.
- Build scalable APIs supporting front-end and back-end functionality.
- Participate in the full implementation cycle from design through rollout.
- Use and validate AI coding tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, and GitHub Copilot.
- Write unit and integration tests.
- Collaborate with engineers and the Product Manager to plan and implement features.
- Participate in Engineering Chapters and contribute to architecture discussions.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of web application development experience across front-end and back-end technologies.
- Working experience with React and TypeScript.
- Working experience with Java and Spring Boot or Python and one of its frameworks.
- Experience building and consuming REST and GraphQL APIs.
- Good knowledge of CSS and UI development practices.
- Effective communication and reliable asynchronous collaboration in a remote environment.
- Preferred: familiarity with AI coding assistants and disciplined workflows around them.
- Preferred: familiarity with TDD and writing tests.
- Preferred: experience with SaaS or custom-built products, especially B2B SaaS, FinTech, or HRTech.
- Preferred: understanding of security principles and performance optimization.
