Base Salary
$112k - $179k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and develop custom ServiceNow applications using App Engine Studio and scoped application development.
- Build custom modules, data models, platform extensions, service portal widgets, workflows, automations, and integrations with external systems.
- Customize ServiceNow modules, Service Portal functionality, UI Pages, UI Actions, and other UI components.
- Write, test, and debug Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, UI Policies, Flow Designer flows, and Fix Scripts.
- Gather and analyze requirements and translate them into scalable, maintainable technical solutions.
- Configure MID Server for integrations and data movement.
- Maintain knowledge of ServiceNow tables, dictionaries, relationships, CMDB, and domain-separated environments.
- Implement role-based access controls and platform security configurations.
- Adhere to FedRAMP, DoD, STIG, and other security and compliance requirements.
- Work independently and collaborate with a small team in an Agile/DevSecOps environment.
- Stand up and configure new ServiceNow instances or support application migrations.
Requirements
- 5 years of experience with a BS/BA, 3 years with an MS/MA, 0 years with a PhD, or 9 years with a high school diploma.
- Experience developing ServiceNow workflows, automation, and integrations using REST/SOAP APIs and third-party platforms.
- Experience writing, testing, and debugging ServiceNow scripts, including Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, UI Policies, Flow Designer, and Fix Scripts.
- Experience developing custom UI components, including UI Pages, UI Actions, and Service Portal elements.
- Experience customizing Service Portal is required.
- Ability to obtain a Secret clearance in the future; no clearance is required to start.
- Ability to work autonomously, communicate consistently, and progress assigned work to completion.
