Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to engineers across a product delivery team.
- Drive technical decisions, architectural alignment, solution evaluation, and long-term engineering strategy.
- Lead delivery of complex, business-critical enterprise software solutions.
- Balance feature delivery, technical debt reduction, platform improvements, operational stability, and delivery priorities.
- Identify and manage technical, delivery, and operational risks and communicate trade-offs to stakeholders.
- Establish engineering standards, development practices, quality expectations, and common patterns across teams.
- Lead production issue resolution, root cause analysis, and prevention activities.
- Ensure solutions meet security, performance, accessibility, resilience, supportability, and observability standards.
- Partner with engineering delivery, product, systems analysis, architecture, quality, and platform teams on planning and requirements.
- Coach and mentor engineers at all levels and support the development of future technical leaders.
- Champion continuous improvement across engineering practices, tooling, automation, delivery processes, and AI-assisted engineering capabilities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a technology-related discipline.
- 8+ years of software engineering experience, including significant experience building, delivering, and supporting enterprise applications.
- Proven experience leading delivery of complex software solutions in large-scale environments.
- Experience acting as a technical lead for teams delivering business-critical applications.
- Demonstrated ability to influence technical decisions and align engineers, product, architecture, business, and technology stakeholders.
- Deep hands-on expertise in Angular, TypeScript, RxJS, Signals, and enterprise front-end architecture.
- Experience leading delivery in large Nx monorepo environments.
- Strong experience with REST-based service integration and API-driven design.
- Experience with distributed systems, CI/CD, AWS, observability, testing, and secure software development.
- Experience establishing unit, integration, visual, and end-to-end testing practices.
- Experience using GitHub Copilot or similar AI-assisted engineering tools is desirable.
