Responsibilities
- Define and deliver the target-state architecture for the Wealth Management platform across client lifecycle management, wealth advisory, portfolio management, digital channels, trading, core banking, compliance, and regulatory services.
- Establish reference architectures, integration patterns, and modernization approaches using microservices, event-driven architecture, API-first design, micro frontends, and cloud-native platforms.
- Identify and deliver AI use cases that improve client experience, operational efficiency, employee productivity, and business decision-making.
- Produce solution, logical, physical, security, integration, deployment, data, API, sequence diagram, and non-functional-requirement architecture artefacts.
- Lead architecture reviews, technology assessments, governance forums, and remediation of architecture deviations, technology risks, and technical debt.
- Guide engineering and delivery teams in adopting OpenShift/Kubernetes, Kafka, API Management, DevSecOps, Platform Engineering, and AI solution patterns.
- Ensure solutions meet scalability, security, resiliency, observability, performance, availability, and cost-optimization requirements.
- Partner with business, product, engineering, operations, risk, compliance, data, and platform stakeholders to ensure successful delivery and architecture compliance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- 10+ years of experience in Solution Architecture and technical engineering roles.
- Proven track record delivering large-scale banking or financial services transformation programmes.
- Strong understanding of Wealth Management business processes and technology ecosystems.
- Experience defining target architectures and leading enterprise-scale transformation initiatives.
- Strong hands-on experience with microservices architecture, event-driven architecture, domain-driven design, OpenShift/Kubernetes, Kafka/MQ technologies, API Management, cloud platforms, PostgreSQL, Oracle, MongoDB, Redis, CI/CD and DevSecOps, observability and monitoring platforms, and enterprise integration patterns.
- Hands-on experience or strong practical understanding of generative AI, large language models, retrieval augmented generation, AI agents, vector databases, prompt engineering, semantic search, knowledge graphs, Azure OpenAI Services, AI governance, responsible AI, and enterprise AI solution architecture.
- Wealth Management, Client Lifecycle Management, Wealth Advisory, Portfolio Management, Trading and Investments, Digital Channels, Core Banking, Treasury, Investment Platforms, Risk, Compliance, and Regulatory Solutions experience is highly desirable.
- Strong strategic thinking, business and technology acumen, stakeholder management, communication, analytical, problem-solving, and enterprise influence skills.
