Responsibilities
- Design, code, and enhance custom software components and applications.
- Manage Oracle Applications DBA activities, including database architecture, performance tuning, high availability, and backup/recovery.
- Troubleshoot complex database issues and optimize system performance.
- Lead the identification and implementation of software development and deployment best practices.
- Serve as a subject matter expert, make team decisions, and provide solutions applicable across multiple teams.
- Collaborate with multiple teams and coordinate cross-functional activities to support project goals and timely delivery.
- Mentor junior team members and support their professional development.
Requirements
- At least 12 years of experience in Oracle Applications DBA.
- 15 years of full-time education.
- Proficiency in Oracle Applications DBA.
- Strong knowledge of database architecture, performance tuning, and backup/recovery strategies.
- Experience managing large-scale database environments and ensuring high availability.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex database issues and optimize system performance.
- Familiarity with automation tools and scripting for database administration.
- Microsoft SQL Server experience is preferred.
