Responsibilities
- Write, debug, and maintain embedded C code for user-space daemons and Linux kernel modules.
- Assist in developing and maintaining device drivers and board support package code.
- Implement L2/L3 networking features under guidance, such as VLANs and STP.
- Take ownership of bug tickets, reproduce issues, and deliver fixes.
- Work hands-on with switch hardware in the lab for validation.
- Participate in code reviews and document learning.
- Use AI coding agents to assist with coding and debugging tasks.
Requirements
- B.Tech/B.E or M.Tech/M.E in Computer Science, Electronics, Electrical, or a related field.
- 0-2 years of professional experience.
- Strong programming fundamentals in C, including pointers and memory management.
- Working knowledge of Linux development environment and tools.
- Foundational understanding of computer networks and OSI model.
- Curiosity about embedded systems and willingness to learn.
- Comfort using AI coding assistants in projects.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
