Responsibilities
- Develop AI agents and experiences that take actions for customer organizations.
- Design prompts, reasoning, tool calls, and integrations using Salesforce’s agentic AI platform and LLM techniques.
- Own technical components from architecture through deployment, validation, and production observability.
- Build and integrate data pipelines using Salesforce Data 360, Snowflake, Databricks, and customer data platforms.
- Model data, ship pipelines, validate outputs, and maintain agent performance dashboards and customer KPI reporting.
- Deliver proofs of concept and MVPs rapidly and co-build solutions with customers and partners.
- Share best practices and enablement, surface platform gaps and field insights, and partner with Deployment Strategists.
- Travel approximately 25% to work directly alongside customers.
Requirements
- A degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- At least 3 years of software engineering or technical delivery experience; 6–10 years is specified for Senior levels.
- At least one production system experience and prior customer-facing technical delivery experience in consulting, professional services, or forward deployed engineering.
- Experience managing and delivering customer-facing projects within public-sector, higher-education, or nonprofit environments.
- Fluency in at least one of Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, or Apex.
- Hands-on experience with LLMs and prompt engineering.
- Deep understanding of data modeling, APIs, and integration patterns sufficient to design them.
- Ability to deliver quality code, evaluate AI outputs with engineering rigor, and collaborate with sales teams and customer architects.
- Salesforce platform experience or certifications such as Administrator, Platform Developer I, or Agentforce Specialist is preferred.
- Familiarity with LangChain, LlamaIndex, orchestration patterns, Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, data engineering, platform architecture, or headless deployments is preferred.
