Base Salary
$350k - $475k/yr
Responsibilities
- Prototype and build APIs and product backends using Python and Rust.
- Launch products and user experiences using React and TypeScript.
- Improve local development, deployment, testing, and iteration speed.
- Improve production reliability, observability, and security, including participation in on-call.
- Build and maintain tools that accelerate research and product teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in computer science, engineering, or a similar field.
- Proficiency in at least one backend language, specifically Python or Rust.
- Some familiarity with React, TypeScript, or mobile platforms.
- Ability to operate across the stack and own projects end to end.
- Experience designing and maintaining backend APIs at scale is preferred.
- Experience building tooling or products for LLMs, AI, or other systems serving large numbers of users is preferred.
- Ability to build high-quality, production-level UIs from prototype to polish is preferred.
- Familiarity with NodeJS, Python, and/or Rust is preferred.
