Salesforce Solution Consultant

Responsibilities
- Lead the design and architecture of Salesforce solutions that meet business requirements.
- Manage multiple solution efforts with Project Management and communicate progress to stakeholders.
- Translate business processes and desired improvements into technical solutions using Salesforce out-of-the-box capabilities where appropriate.
- Design and optimize data models and facilitate stakeholder design reviews.
- Segment user stories into actionable work items for developers and administrators.
- Support development and QA through technical guidance, demos, and solution explanations.
- Maintain solution design documentation and develop Salesforce configurations such as flows and security configurations for proof-of-concept work.
- Stay current with Salesforce technologies and best practices.
Requirements
- At least five years of combined experience as a Salesforce Consultant and/or Administrator with hands-on configuration skills.
- At least three years of experience with Salesforce CPQ and/or Revenue Cloud.
- Bachelor’s degree in a technology-focused field.
- Strong understanding of data architecture and familiarity with middleware such as Boomi and Workato.
- Experience communicating with IT stakeholders and writing user stories, acceptance criteria, and detailed system or functional designs.
- Preferred qualifications include Salesforce certifications, expert Salesforce platform architecture knowledge, object-oriented software engineering experience, integrated financial systems experience, and familiarity with Atlassian, Lucidchart, Gearset, Copado, Claude, or ChatGPT.
