Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain software applications and services using Golang.
- Develop Embedded Linux software components, including system-level applications, daemons, and services.
- Work with Linux device drivers, system interfaces, hardware abstraction layers, embedded hardware, and peripheral devices.
- Debug issues across software, firmware, and hardware layers and optimize performance, memory utilization, and system reliability.
- Participate in design discussions and code reviews while contributing across immediate and cross-business teams.
- Create technical documentation, design specifications, and test plans.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a STEM major.
- Minimum four years of professional experience.
- Strong proficiency in Golang and good knowledge of C/C++.
- Experience with Bash shell scripting, Linux internals, Embedded Linux application development, process and thread management, IPC, system programming, and debugging.
- Knowledge of TCP/IP, UDP, HTTP/HTTPS, MQTT, REST APIs, and gRPC.
- Experience with Git, GitHub or GitLab, Make or CMake, GNU Toolchain, GDB, static analysis tools, Yocto, Buildroot, cross-compilation, Linux kernel logs, core dump analysis, performance profiling, and memory leak detection.
- Preferred qualifications include Linux device driver experience, ARM or ARM64 knowledge, secure boot, Linux security, Docker, OTA updates, edge computing or IoT, CI/CD, cloud integration with AWS IoT, Azure IoT, or Google Cloud IoT, NVIDIA Jetson, connected devices, industrial systems, and embedded cybersecurity practices.
