Responsibilities
- Design, develop, customize, and maintain Android platform software using AOSP and the Android framework.
- Work on Android system internals, Linux system programming, device customization, and Android HAL integration.
- Implement and integrate Android Binder IPC, HIDL/AIDL, and Android build-system components using Soong and Make.
- Collaborate with hardware, BSP, kernel, and application teams to deliver customized Android OS solutions.
- Optimize performance and memory usage and address application security concerns.
- Use Android Studio, Gradle, Git, RESTful APIs, JSON, and third-party libraries in collaborative development.
- Work in an agile and DevOps environment and support the Android mobile application development lifecycle.
Requirements
- 3–7 years of total professional experience.
- Any graduation degree.
- Strong experience with AOSP architecture and the Android framework.
- Proficiency in Kotlin, Java, C++, and C.
- Strong Linux system programming knowledge.
- Experience with Android Binder IPC, HIDL/AIDL, and Android HAL development.
- Knowledge of the Android build system, including Soong and Make.
- Understanding of Android framework libraries, mobile application architecture, design patterns, and best practices.
- Experience with Android Studio, Gradle, Git, RESTful APIs, JSON, network frameworks, and third-party library integration.
- Immediate joiner status and local candidacy for Hyderabad or Pune.
- Knowledge of testing frameworks is preferred.
