Responsibilities
- Lead the development team in designing, developing, and maintaining software applications.
- Architect and implement scalable backend solutions using Spring Boot, JPA/Hibernate, Spring MVC, Spring Cloud, and microservices architecture.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineers and remove technical barriers through design and sprint reviews.
- Design software systems for scalability, performance, security, and protection from breaches.
- Apply unit testing, code reviews, CI/CD practices, testing, and debugging to ensure software quality.
- Use AWS and other cloud-native technologies to optimize infrastructure and application performance.
- Collaborate with product, solution architecture, and cross-functional teams to deliver solutions aligned with strategic objectives.
- Manage multiple projects concurrently and resolve complex technical challenges.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent directly related experience; alternative qualifications include high school plus 15 years, an associate degree plus 11 years, an M.S. plus 4 years, or a PhD plus 3 years of experience.
- 10–12 years of relevant experience.
- Advanced proficiency in Spring Boot, JPA/Hibernate, microservices, and related technologies.
- Strong understanding of software design patterns, architectural principles, and industry best practices.
- Expertise in low-level technical documentation standards.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, particularly Jenkins, and container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with AWS and cloud-native technologies.
- Demonstrated success leading and mentoring engineering teams.
- Hands-on experience with Helm Charts and API security best practices.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.
