Base Salary
$139k - $191k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own the security roadmap for core GNSS receivers.
- Design and implement secure workflows, security frameworks, defensive measures, and networking protocols for embedded systems.
- Identify system weaknesses and coordinate documentation and remediation of vulnerabilities.
- Define software architectures deployable across multiple operating systems.
- Translate security requirements into user-focused, high-performance product features with Product Marketing and engineering teams.
- Collaborate with the Trimble Cloud team and international R&D organizations on secure product ecosystem communication.
Requirements
- Demonstrated expertise designing secure workflows and implementing defensive cybersecurity measures in embedded environments.
- Deep understanding of networking and communication protocols.
- Significant experience with C/C++, real-time operating systems, mutexes, semaphores, and task priorities.
- Solid knowledge of Embedded Linux and Linux distributions.
- Ability to collaborate with non-technical stakeholders and drive security requirements.
- Experience with GNSS or high-precision positioning technology is preferred.
- Knowledge of secure cloud-to-device integration is preferred.
- Experience transitioning legacy systems to next-generation software architectures is preferred.
