Responsibilities
- Write clean, efficient, and testable frontend and backend code, owning features and services from design through deployment.
- Collaborate with PMs, engineers, and QAs to refine requirements, scope technical solutions, and deliver software.
- Write unit and integration tests and contribute to CI/CD practices that support safe and reliable releases.
- Deploy and operate software in AWS and Azure using Terraform, Kubernetes, and GitHub Actions.
- Maintain the health, performance, and maintainability of shipped code.
- Participate in code reviews, retrospectives, feedback sessions, and development workflow improvements.
- Use AI-powered tooling and automation to improve development workflows.
- Mentor and teach less experienced engineers.
- Develop collaboratively in an Agile environment using Git, Jira, and Confluence.
Requirements
- 3+ years of software development experience with a strong focus on TypeScript, Node.js, and React.
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript fundamentals.
- Experience with basic cloud development on AWS and Azure, CI/CD pipelines, GitHub Actions, and Terraform.
- Familiarity with unit testing, automated testing, test coverage, maintainability, and regression safety.
- Ability to solve engineering problems, break down tasks, ask questions, and work through ambiguity.
- Full-stack engineering orientation with ownership, initiative, curiosity, collaboration, and strong analytical problem-solving skills.
- Ability to mentor teammates and work independently without close supervision.
