Responsibilities
- Design, implement, deliver, and maintain software features and product improvements end-to-end.
- Contribute to distributed, highly available microservice architectures.
- Drive technical decisions for owned services or components.
- Improve system performance, scalability, reliability, and observability.
- Debug complex production issues and contribute to incident resolution and postmortems.
- Lead by example in code quality, testing, and operational excellence.
- Collaborate with engineers, Product Management, and SRE/DevOps teams.
- Mentor junior and mid-level engineers through code reviews and technical discussions.
- Use AI technologies and coding tools to accelerate team productivity and feature delivery.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 5 years of professional software development experience.
- Experience building and maintaining backend services in production environments.
- Strong knowledge of software development and architecture concepts.
- Strong experience with Java system development.
- Node.js, JavaScript, and Python experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with Spring, PostgreSQL, MySQL, Kafka, Git, DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, continuous delivery, and AI coding tools such as Codex, Cursor, and Copilot.
- Proven ability to debug and resolve complex production issues.
- Clear and precise communication, attention to detail, creativity in solving complex problems, and commitment to continuous learning and quality results.
