Base Salary
$159k - $271k/yr
Responsibilities
- Assist the development team with application software design.
- Own one or more technical aspects of software development.
- Create documentation for architecture, design, integration, and testing processes.
- Develop and implement RealPage products and participate in routine product builds.
- Participate in design reviews, code reviews, and internal testing, including error and stress scenarios.
- Research emerging application development software, packages, languages, and standards.
- Create new open source packages and improve existing packages.
- Mentor junior developers and serve as a technical resource for other developers.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of experience with object-oriented analysis and design principles, design patterns, SOA, and distributed architecture patterns.
- At least 10 years of experience with C#, .NET 3.5+, MVC 3.0, jQuery, and T-SQL.
- Experience with system performance tuning, supportability, and logging tools such as OpNet, SCOM, or FogLight.
- At least 5 years of system-level, application-level, and database-level performance management experience.
- At least 10 years in the IT industry and a strong understanding of the full software development lifecycle.
- Four-year college degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- Thorough understanding of web application architecture, web server and client interactions, software and hardware architecture relationships, and database design.
- Strong problem-solving, creativity, written and verbal communication, and presentation skills.
- Experience working with the Microsoft development environment.
