Responsibilities
- Build, maintain, and continuously improve the automation platform.
- Expand automation workflows and develop Go- and Python-based automation tools and scripts.
- Build and improve CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins and ArgoCD.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and identify automation opportunities.
- Lead incident troubleshooting, improve platform reliability, and participate in a rotating on-call schedule.
- Mentor junior staff, maintain technical documentation, and use performance metrics to improve software reliability.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related experience; coursework and extensive related professional experience may also be considered.
- 7-12 years of software engineering experience.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language, including Go or Python.
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and containerized applications.
- Experience with public cloud platforms such as AWS.
- Experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code practices.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or ArgoCD.
- Strong system design, troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills.
