Responsibilities
- Manage, maintain, and optimize Elasticsearch clusters in production environments.
- Troubleshoot performance issues and improve search and indexing performance.
- Design and implement improvements for scalability, reliability, and cluster health.
- Support high-traffic and peak event scenarios to ensure platform stability.
- Maintain and improve the existing Scala-based indexing service.
- Collaborate with engineering teams on the modernization of the indexing framework.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience with Elasticsearch in large-scale production environments.
- Experience scaling Elasticsearch for high-traffic applications.
- Expertise in indexing strategies, shard allocation, query optimization, and performance tuning.
- Experience troubleshooting Elasticsearch cluster issues.
- Development experience with Scala.
- Experience working in distributed systems or high-throughput platforms.
