Responsibilities
- Design scalable event-driven services using Kafka, including data streaming, topic strategies, consumer groups, and message integration.
- Develop responsive and accessible front-end interfaces using Bootstrap for asset and wealth management workflows.
- Implement and optimize Camunda BPM workflows through process modeling, decision models, task lifecycle configuration, and application-service integration.
- Integrate Kafka messaging with existing enterprise applications and optimize application performance, latency, and throughput.
- Apply secure coding, compliance-minded design, audit-friendly logging, and observability practices.
- Collaborate with architects, product teams, operations, support teams, and business stakeholders across design, development, testing, releases, and incident resolution.
- Mentor junior developers and participate in code reviews, design discussions, technical documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Coordinate controlled application releases during day-shift windows while maintaining service stability.
Requirements
- At least ten years of development experience designing and implementing event-driven applications with Kafka.
- Strong Bootstrap experience, including responsive layouts, component customization, accessibility, and cross-browser considerations.
- Proven proficiency with Camunda BPM, including process modeling, task lifecycles, decision models, and service integration.
- Understanding of distributed application integration patterns, testing approaches, and continuous integration practices.
- Practical knowledge of asset and wealth management concepts such as portfolio servicing, advisory workflows, and client reporting.
- Advanced problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Familiarity with secure development guidelines, audit-friendly logging, and observability tools in regulated financial-services environments.
- Kafka certification from Confluent or a similar provider is preferred.
- Camunda BPM practitioner certification is preferred.
