Senior Software Engineer (.NET)
TELUS DigitalResponsibilities
- Develop innovative systems and functionality end to end.
- Conceptualize and develop initiatives supporting the evolving Canadian pharmacy practice.
- Ensure the performance and quality of mission-critical systems.
- Integrate with partners and apply security best practices.
- Participate in the design and improvement of pharmacy software.
- Collaborate with a product team delivering systems for Canadian citizens.
- Work with modern centralized-system architecture and technology stacks.
- Follow industry technical trends and maintain technology expertise.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or information technology, including computer science or data sciences, or equivalent experience.
- At least five years of technical or software development experience with .NET and .NET Core.
- Strong AI-driven experience and experience delivering complex solutions while balancing delivery time, quality, scope, and cost.
- Experience with design patterns, development best practices, system design, system integration, and third-party APIs.
- Understanding, training, or experience with AWS, Azure, GSP, local APIs, and interface agreements.
- Knowledge of MS SQL Server, Aurora, PostgreSQL, and MySQL.
- Experience developing full-stack systems from the database through the presentation layer.
- Understanding of OAuth2 authentication and security practices.
- Strong Visual Studio skills and familiarity with Git and SourceTree.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, mentor and learn from colleagues, and proactively resolve delivery issues.
