Base Salary

$169k - $229k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Own the technical engagement and success of customer implementation projects.
  • Define AWS implementation architectures and respond to RFPs.
  • Partner with sales and business development teams to execute strategies that drive AWS adoption and revenue.
  • Help customers build, migrate, and deploy applications, software, and services on AWS.
  • Lead deep architectural discussions, technical presentations, and customer training sessions.
  • Capture and share best practices with the AWS Solutions Architect community.
  • Contribute to customer-facing publications such as white papers.
  • Act as a technical liaison between customers, AWS Service Teams, and Support.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in technology domains such as software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, or data and analytics.
  • 3+ years of experience in application and infrastructure design, implementation, or consulting.
  • 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting experience in the software or Internet industries.
  • Experience with technical presentations, web services development and deployment, cloud computing, website or service operations, management, and security.
  • Ability to travel 30%.
  • Preferred: 5+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture, and networking experience.
  • Preferred: experience working with end-user or developer communities.
  • Preferred: experience communicating with technical and non-technical audiences, including executives and clients.
  • Preferred: experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud.

Benefits

  • Base salary range of $169,000.00-$228,600.00 USD annually, plus sign-on payments and restricted stock units.
