Base Salary
$107k - $284k/yr
Responsibilities
- Architect and design Epic Healthy Planet, Reporting Workbench, Clarity/Caboodle, and SlicerDicer solutions for Star Ratings, HEDIS, and NCQA measure tracking.
- Translate quality measure specifications into functional and technical Epic build requirements.
- Own the technical roadmap for registries, care gap alerts, best practice advisories, and health maintenance topics tied to Star measures.
- Partner with quality, population health, ACO, clinical, analytics, and reporting stakeholders.
- Lead or oversee Epic build, workflow optimization, testing, validation, troubleshooting, and quality dashboard delivery.
- Ensure interoperability with external quality-reporting platforms and vendor tools using FHIR/HL7 standards where applicable.
- Maintain architecture and data-flow documentation, support audit readiness, and participate in governance, change control, and release management.
- Monitor changes to CMS Star Ratings, HEDIS, NCQA, and Epic functionality, and mentor junior analysts and build staff.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Health Informatics, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- At least 5 years of experience with Epic, including hands-on work in Healthy Planet, Clarity/Caboodle, Reporting Workbench, or SlicerDicer.
- Experience supporting Medicare Star Ratings, HEDIS, and/or NCQA quality measure programs.
- Strong understanding of value-based care and ACO population health operations.
- Experience translating clinical and quality specifications into technical build requirements.
- Familiarity with FHIR and HL7 interoperability standards.
- Epic certification in Healthy Planet, Reporting Cadence, ClinDoc, or related modules is strongly preferred.
- Experience with Rally for build backlogs and release planning, health plan, ACO, or integrated delivery network environments, risk adjustment and quality-reporting vendor platforms, and senior-leadership presentations is preferred.
