Base Salary
$100k - $160k/yr
Responsibilities
- Analyze user and data requirements and develop solution models and implementation approaches.
- Design, review, upgrade, convert, and implement Broadcom Software mainframe infrastructure solutions.
- Execute or coordinate complex product integration demonstrations, proofs of concept, trials, and technical presentations.
- Provide technical leadership, solution specifications, requirements documentation, troubleshooting, and post-implementation support.
- Advise customer management and technical teams on infrastructure architecture, management practices, innovations, and trends.
- Collaborate with account teams, partners, and customers to qualify solutions, understand technical needs, and communicate solution benefits.
- Support Broadcom financial targets and customer relationships while coordinating virtual teams and internal processes.
- Create scripts or code to support product conversions and implementation requirements.
- Travel to client sites as required.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering and 8+ years of related experience, or a master's degree and 6+ years of related experience.
- 10+ years of experience with Broadcom Software mainframe products or similar products.
- 10+ years of experience with z/OS.
- Proficiency with REXX and/or HLASM programming languages.
- Understanding of mainframe infrastructure management concepts, Broadcom mainframe products, major z/OS subsystems, and enterprise security managers.
- Knowledge of JES, CICS, MQ Series, DB2, IMS, VSAM, ACF2, TSS, and RACF.
- Ability to listen to client requirements, organize business needs, document technical work, communicate project and task status, and deliver product demonstrations.
- Familiarity with BMC, IBM, and Rocket mainframe products is preferred.
- Experience with z/VSE and z/VM is preferred but not required.
- Ability to travel to customer sites.
