Responsibilities
- Design end-to-end ServiceNow architectures, workflows, automation frameworks, integrations, security models, and governance standards.
- Lead technical workshops, requirements gathering, stakeholder advisory, and translation of business needs into technical designs and implementation plans.
- Develop and maintain ServiceNow architectural standards, roadmaps, coding standards, design reviews, optimization plans, and upgrade-readiness practices.
- Guide custom applications, scoped apps, workflows, catalog items, portals, forms, automation, and platform enhancements.
- Design ServiceNow integrations, data migration, synchronization, mapping, validation, monitoring, reconciliation, and error-handling approaches.
- Define and mature CMDB and CSDM strategies, including CI classes, service models, ownership, lifecycle governance, and relationship quality.
- Lead or support project delivery, risk management, prioritization, technical direction, code and design reviews, mentoring, and knowledge transfer.
- Define testing and release-readiness strategies and maintain architecture documentation, integration contracts, decision logs, runbooks, and platform standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 5 years of ServiceNow platform experience, including 2–3 years in an architect, lead consultant, or technical lead role.
- Hands-on experience with ServiceNow implementations, custom application development, integrations, and enterprise module rollouts.
- Demonstrated experience designing ServiceNow modules, custom applications, workflows, integrations, data models, and platform governance.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, project management, prioritization, risk management, multitasking, communication, facilitation, stakeholder management, leadership, and mentoring skills.
- Ten or more years of ServiceNow architecture or consulting experience is preferred for senior enterprise roles.
- Ten or more years of overall IT experience is strongly preferred, and 15 or more years is ideal for global enterprise transformation or principal architect roles.
