Base Salary
$139k - $186k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, write, test, deploy, and maintain reliable and scalable software solutions.
- Build end-to-end media inspection pipelines using computer vision and machine learning workflows.
- Develop platform services, data pipelines, and automated inspection, validation, and enrichment capabilities for media assets.
- Collaborate with platform engineers, product teams, and data scientists to support business and content strategies.
- Monitor and optimize production systems for stability, performance, and uptime.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of relevant industry experience.
- Proficiency in at least one core programming language such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
- Experience with REST APIs or GraphQL, AWS and services such as S3, Lambda, and EC2.
- Knowledge of software design principles, algorithms, and data structures.
- Experience with Docker, GitLab CI, Terraform or CloudFormation, Jenkins, and Kubernetes.
- Experience across the full application development lifecycle, including unit testing, code reviews, and documentation.
- Experience with MongoDB, Redis, Elasticsearch, Postgres, and DynamoDB or comparable data stores.
- Preferred experience with TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, machine learning model training, prompt engineering, LLMs, and integrating machine learning models into production systems.
- Preferred experience with media or entertainment technology, content distribution, or media supply chains.
- Strong oral and written communication skills and experience working in collaborative teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a comparable field, or equivalent work experience.
