Base Salary
$180k - $250k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and evolve Pangolin, our bespoke analytical database.
- Work closely with internal customers to define priorities and shape the roadmap.
- Collaborate with the Infrastructure team on deployment, reliability, and scale.
- Write clean, well-reasoned design docs and contribute to the long-term technical direction.
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in Rust, with a focus on safe and performant code.
- Deep systems programming fundamentals, including memory and concurrency.
- Strong CS fundamentals in data structures and algorithms.
- Experience in backend engineering, particularly with database systems.
- Product-minded with the ability to translate requirements into priorities.
