Responsibilities
- Develop high-quality embedded software for consumer products.
- Design and architect software for next-generation consumer devices.
- Work on middleware and framework components.
- Evaluate design choices, prototype technologies, and implement technical solutions.
- Own feature-level deliverables from design through delivery.
- Collaborate with firmware, hardware, cloud, and cross-functional teams.
- Make data-driven decisions and manage cross-organization complexity.
- Deliver software for sensor data pipelines, power management, and cloud-connected device experiences.
Requirements
- 4+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- 4+ years of experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- 3+ years of Android development experience.
- Experience with the full software development lifecycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Preferred: 3+ years of programming in a modern language such as Java, C++, or C#, including object-oriented design experience.
- Preferred: master's degree in computer science or equivalent.
- Preferred: knowledge of computer architecture, operating systems, and parallel computing.
