Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of platform services and infrastructure focused on architecture, integration patterns, and system reliability.
- Develop, review, debug, and maintain secure, high-quality production code.
- Automate recurring issue remediation to improve operational stability across applications and systems.
- Lead design reviews and architecture discussions for scalable technical solutions.
- Partner with platform architecture, trust and authorization teams, and downstream IAM consumers.
- Lead Software Engineering communities of practice and promote adoption of new technologies.
- Mentor and coach engineers through hands-on technical guidance.
- Foster an inclusive culture of continuous improvement and shared learning.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts with applied experience.
- Hands-on experience with system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
- Experience with IAM platforms, role-based access control, or entitlement governance at scale.
- Proficiency in one or more of Java, Spring, Go, Python, Terraform, or Kubernetes.
- Cloud-native experience building and operating services on at least one public cloud provider.
- Proficiency in automation and continuous delivery methods.
- Understanding of agile practices, continuous integration, continuous delivery, application resiliency, and security.
- Ability to evaluate technical solutions with a customer-focused mindset and connect engineering decisions to user and business outcomes.
- Strong communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to use approved artificial intelligence tooling responsibly and validate quality, correctness, security, and performance.
- Preferred experience includes financial services or other regulated environments, public cloud platform services, developer platforms, responsible AI use in engineering workflows, developer experience, platform reliability, or operational efficiency at scale.
