Responsibilities
- Analyze requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria and create comprehensive test scenarios, plans, cases, and data.
- Perform functional, integration, regression, smoke, and UAT support testing across eLIMS-BPT and integrated applications.
- Design, develop, maintain, and improve automated test frameworks and suites.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and investigate automation failures.
- Identify, document, prioritize, track, and close defects, including root cause analysis for escaped defects.
- Support release planning, validation activities, controlled deployments, readiness reviews, risk assessments, audits, and compliance evidence generation.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Developers, Business Analysts, Functional Analysts, and Support teams.
- Mentor junior QA engineers and promote testing best practices.
- Define and track quality metrics such as defect leakage, automation coverage, and test effectiveness.
- Drive process improvements and promote a quality-first approach across delivery teams.
Requirements
- 5–8+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance.
- Strong experience with functional and regression testing.
- Experience with test automation tools such as WebDriverIO, Selenium, Playwright, or equivalent.
- Experience with API testing using Postman or similar tools, SQL, database validation, Azure DevOps or similar ALM tools, and release management practices.
- Understanding of CI/CD concepts, Agile/Scrum methodologies, and validation concepts for regulated systems.
- A preferred background in healthcare, life sciences, laboratory systems, LIMS, ELN, or regulated environments.
- Familiarity with GxP, GMP, GLP, CSV, or related compliance processes is desirable.
- Performance testing, Azure services, cloud-based applications, enterprise-scale distributed systems, and security testing knowledge are nice to have.
- MCA or bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or an equivalent qualification.
- Strong analytical, communication, stakeholder management, problem-solving, mentoring, and attention-to-detail skills.
