Responsibilities

  • Investigate translation quality and workflow issues and help test improvements.
  • Evaluate machine translation quality using automated metrics and multilingual test data.
  • Support data analysis, testing, automation, and applications of NLP, generative AI, and large language models in localization.
  • Develop Python services, automation scripts, and API and GitHub integrations for cloud-based localization workflows.
  • Contribute to event-driven, containerized AWS workflows and support monitoring, troubleshooting, production readiness, scalability, and reliability.
  • Collaborate with localization, language, and engineering teams and document findings.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field, with graduation expected in 2027 or 2028.
  • Programming or scripting knowledge, preferably Python, and basic understanding of software development, APIs, data structures, and debugging.
  • Some exposure to machine learning, NLP, cloud computing, or distributed systems.
  • Familiarity with Git or another source-control system.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and interest in localization, AI, and cloud technologies.
  • Preferred qualifications include Python, data processing, automated testing, machine learning, NLP, machine translation, generative AI, LLMs, AWS, Docker, serverless or event-driven architectures, REST APIs, webhooks, GitHub APIs, CI/CD, and multilingual data.
