Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable GCP solutions integrating workflows, data processing, storage, applications, and security controls.
- Develop and optimize GCP Workflows to orchestrate reliable cloud-service automation.
- Architect GCP Dataflow pipelines for transforming, enriching, and moving large datasets for batch and real-time analytics.
- Configure and manage GCP Databases, Cloud SQL, Cloud Storage, and BigQuery for secure, resilient, and high-performing data workloads.
- Translate finance and accounting requirements into practical GCP solutions supporting compliance and accurate reporting.
- Establish GCP Cloud Repository structures for version control, reusable components, and collaborative development.
- Monitor GCP application and data workloads using logging and performance metrics, and implement improvements.
- Document solution architectures, data flows, and configuration details.
- Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders, troubleshoot GCP systems, and mentor peers on GCP architecture practices.
Requirements
- Advanced proficiency in GCP fundamentals, including compute, networking, storage, and identity management.
- Hands-on project experience with GCP Workflows, GCP Dataflow, GCP Cloud Storage, GCP Cloud SQL, GCP Databases, GCP Cloud Repository, and GCP BigQuery.
- Experience designing and developing scalable, performant, secure, and reliable enterprise GCP architectures.
- Ability to integrate multiple GCP services into cohesive application and data platforms.
- Relevant finance and accounting domain knowledge, including reporting and compliance requirements.
- Clear communication skills for explaining technical designs, trade-offs, and implementation details to technical and business stakeholders.
- Experience using modern development practices and tooling to deliver testable, maintainable code.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills for diagnosing GCP system issues and improving stability and resource utilization.
- GCP Professional Cloud Architect or GCP Professional Data Engineer certification is preferred.
