Responsibilities
- Design, develop, implement, document, unit-test, and integrate software components.
- Architect scalable software solutions using microservices, containers, and related technologies.
- Develop full-stack applications using Java, Spring Boot, Node.js, React, TypeScript, SQL, and AWS services.
- Debug code, solve complex software problems, and ensure delivered software meets quality standards.
- Deploy applications and build CI/CD pipelines.
- Provide work estimates and guide features, functional objectives, and technologies for interested parties.
Requirements
- 5 to 12 years of experience working as a software engineer on complex software projects.
- Strong development experience with Java, Spring Boot, SQL, Node.js, TypeScript, Jest, Lambda, API Gateway, Terraform, Docker, and AWS.
- Experience developing scalable and robust software using software development methodologies.
- Experience with relational and NoSQL databases, data mapping, XML/JSON, and web services.
- Knowledge of architecture design, microservices, containers including Docker and Kubernetes, and messaging queues.
- Deep understanding of object-oriented programming and design patterns.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Cloud certification in Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform is preferred.
- Experience with DevOps tools and modern engineering practices is preferred.
