Responsibilities

  • Provide technical leadership and architectural guidance to multiple development teams.
  • Design, assess, review, test, and implement scalable software architectures and design patterns.
  • Contribute hands-on to software development and ensure systems are flexible, loosely coupled, reliable, and performant.
  • Establish and improve collaborative Agile and Lean software delivery practices.
  • Support DevOps automation, continuous integration, continuous deployment, and operational monitoring.
  • Embed security, scalability, reliability, and performance into engineering processes and architecture.
  • Measure operational metrics and validate that solutions meet customer and business needs.
  • Mentor engineers, promote skill development, and drive engineering excellence through reviews and best practices.
  • Engage business partners and stakeholders to align priorities, performance metrics, and technical decisions.
  • Communicate architecture, plans, insights, and recommendations across the organization, including senior management and executives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of software development experience.
  • Proficiency with Angular 10+, Java, Spring Boot, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, and modern UI frameworks or libraries.
  • Expertise in API design, gRPC, RESTful services, scalable web applications, web components, micro-frontends, and responsive UI development.
  • Practical experience with Python and/or Golang, microservices, domain-driven design, and distributed systems.
  • Experience with PostgreSQL or similar SQL databases and Redis.
  • Experience with automated unit and integration testing frameworks such as Jasmine, Jest, Karma, JUnit, PyTest, Go testing, or Testify.
  • Experience with Git or equivalent source control and branching strategies, Linux, networking, scripting, debugging, and troubleshooting.
  • Knowledge of application security, OAuth2/OIDC, JWT, OWASP guidelines, and secure coding practices.
  • Proficiency with Docker, Kubernetes, build and release pipelines, and CI/CD.
  • Understanding of AWS, Azure, or GCP and IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS service models.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and JIRA.
  • Knowledge of software quality assurance, event-driven architectures, stream processing, real-time analytics, data democratization, and AI/ML platform approaches.
  • Strong architecture, mentoring, communication, stakeholder management, decision-making, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Working experience with UX is an added advantage.
