Responsibilities
- Collaborate with architecture and technical leads to elaborate fraud initiatives and align solution designs with the strategic technical roadmap.
- Contribute architectural best practices, standards, and patterns to the Technical Lead/Analyst Guild.
- Maintain the fraud technology view and recommend improvements, migrations, and efficiency enhancements.
- Lead software implementation activities throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Analyze project risks, time, resources, scope, dependencies, and constraints, and identify mitigation options.
- Review functional and non-functional requirements with business analysts, product owners, and technical and functional architects.
- Coordinate multiple contributing teams, workstreams, dependencies, and commitments.
- Support fraud applications in production, including incident prioritization and escalations.
- Support technical, destructive, high-availability, and performance testing.
- Remove blockers and help teams remain focused on value-delivering work.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of professional experience.
- Availability to work UK business hours from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM UK time, equivalent to 2:30 PM to 10:30 PM IST.
- Strong technical background, communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Experience with API development, microservice architecture, pipelines, RESTful APIs, distributed architectures, and performance, scale, and reliability principles.
- Knowledge of OpenAPI, OAuth2, Docker, Jenkins, GitLab, GitHub, Kubernetes, Jira, and Confluence.
- Excellent understanding of Java 8+, object-oriented programming, design patterns, data structures, algorithms, Big O notation, and performance analysis.
- Excellent knowledge of Spring, Spring Boot, architectural patterns, and solution architecture.
- Experience designing architectures, selecting technology stacks, and building and packaging components and services.
- Experience with relational and non-relational databases, database architecture, and distributed transaction management.
- Experience with cloud or on-premises deployments, CI/CD, monitoring, observability, and container orchestration.
- Experience with Maven, Gradle, or Ant, Git or similar version control, and Agile/Scrum practices.
- Experience scoping project requirements, considerations, and dependencies; building end-to-end proposals from high-level requirements; and leading multiple workstreams.
- Preferred experience delivering fraud-related initiatives, AWS or AWS certification, Scrum and Kanban, Jira and Confluence, solution architecture, and fraud domain knowledge.
