Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality software independently and with the team, including design, coding, testing, and documentation.
- Implement complex features using test-driven development and deliver them in a timely manner.
- Review team code, suggest improvements, and refactor existing code to improve quality.
- Collaborate with architects to review and propose architectural design changes and ensure quality implementation.
- Work with Business Analysts to estimate complexity and workload, select technical solutions, and refine requirements.
- Interact constructively with other IT teams and provide technical recommendations and solutions to technical problems.
- Support team delivery through hands-on technical leadership and quality-focused engineering practices.
Requirements
- 10–12 years of experience developing end-to-end web applications using Microsoft technologies.
- At least 10 years of total experience and at least 2 years as a hands-on technical lead providing solutions to a team.
- Strong working knowledge of .NET, C#, MVC, WCF, REST, Web API, SOLID principles, design patterns, object-oriented programming, UML, and n-tier architecture.
- Experience with at least one service-oriented architecture project and familiarity with Agile practices, preferably Scrum.
- Experience with NUnit or MSTest, Entity Framework, JavaScript, TypeScript, jQuery, Angular 2 or above, Jasmine, HTML5, CSS3, Microsoft SQL databases, and PowerShell.
- Familiarity with ESB or message queuing such as MSMQ, unit-testing frameworks, UI-testing frameworks, and WPF.
- Engineering graduate or postgraduate qualification, or a BE in Computer Science, MCA, or another bachelor's degree with relevant experience.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical reasoning, communication, interpersonal, teamwork, adaptability, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Laboratory-related application experience is an added advantage.
