Base Salary
$218k - $250k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and support easy-to-use React and TypeScript applications
- Make technology decisions that support business needs while maintaining security, privacy, and quality
- Enhance existing systems with new functionality and improve performance, stability, quality, and security
- Set standards for accessibility and design-system usage
- Improve code quality and reduce technical debt
- Collaborate with design, product, machine learning, infrastructure, and other cross-functional teams
- Mentor and learn from other engineers
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience building, shipping, and supporting web applications
- 5+ years of experience with React
- Experience independently delivering a small web application or a feature within a larger application
- Interest in working with a mobile technology stack including React, TypeScript, and potentially Electron
- Ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively with a team
- Comfort working across domains and languages with curiosity to learn and experiment
- Deep expertise using AI tools to accelerate engineering workflows
- Experience with web audio playback, audio recording, file encryption, or online/offline support is a bonus
