Base Salary

$97k - $185k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Build scalable AI capabilities and production-ready solutions for Fidelity Wealth.
  • Partner with business, product, architecture, data, and platform teams to translate Wealth priorities into software.
  • Design and implement secure, reliable, scalable, and resilient systems.
  • Develop prototypes and production solutions using modern programming languages, frameworks, algorithms, data structures, and design patterns.
  • Apply test-first development and quality engineering practices.
  • Own issues, navigate ambiguity, contribute to design discussions, and deliver high-quality solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience with 5 plus years of software engineering experience, or a master’s degree with 3 plus years of experience.
  • Experience with at least one modern programming language, such as Python, Node.js, or Java.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Experience using GenAI tools such as GitHub Copilot, Gemini, or Claude.
  • Strong understanding of software design patterns for scalable, resilient systems.
  • Strong technical fundamentals, problem-solving ability, sound judgment, communication skills, and collaboration skills.
