Base Salary
$122k - $163k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and approve end-to-end AI, data, application, and enterprise architectures for scalable platforms and high-impact initiatives.
- Lead AI/ML lifecycle operationalization, including deployment readiness, observability, production deployment, and ongoing optimization.
- Define architecture standards, governance guardrails, design review processes, and exception procedures supporting security, reliability, performance, compliance, and operability.
- Guide cloud-native and hybrid solution strategy, with a focus on Microsoft Azure and Azure AI Foundry.
- Direct data preparation and feature engineering approaches for scalable, production-ready AI solutions.
- Evaluate platforms, APIs, integration patterns, event-driven architectures, and data flows against target-state roadmaps.
- Partner with product, engineering, security, operations, and business leaders to manage technical risk and communicate architecture trade-offs.
- Mentor architects and engineers while leading modernization initiatives, portfolio roadmaps, and architecture integration efforts.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 10+ years of experience in solution architecture, enterprise architecture, software engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Relevant Master’s or Doctorate qualifications may reduce the required years of experience.
- Experience designing enterprise-scale architectures for cloud-based, distributed, and integrated systems.
- Demonstrated experience with AI/ML architecture, lifecycle operationalization, and production deployment patterns.
- Hands-on Microsoft Azure cloud architecture experience; Azure AI Foundry experience is strongly preferred.
- Experience defining and enforcing architecture governance, standards, and design review processes.
- Strong knowledge of APIs, event-driven integration, data architecture, security-by-design, and operational resilience.
- Experience with multi-cloud environments, observability, backup and disaster recovery, high-availability patterns, data preparation, feature engineering, MLOps, model monitoring, and AI governance is preferred.
- Experience with TOGAF, C4 model, ITIL 4, OWASP Top 10, or similar architecture and security frameworks is preferred.
- Experience in regulated, complex, or large-scale enterprise environments and a track record of influencing and coaching technical teams are preferred.
