Responsibilities
- Guide engineering teams on software architecture, engineering practices, and technology choices.
- Oversee complex projects from concept through production delivery.
- Mentor junior and mid-level engineers and promote continuous learning.
- Set technical direction and make high-stakes architectural decisions.
- Lead product delivery and align engineering work with the product vision.
- Collaborate with product management, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.
- Drive innovation, AI modernization, and improvements to software development and operations.
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality SaaS applications.
- Balance short- and long-term product goals while delivering business and productivity impact.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in .NET full-stack development.
- At least 4 years of experience in software development or engineering roles.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- At least 15 years of full-time education.
- Expertise in multiple programming languages, including .NET.
- Strong knowledge of software design patterns, principles, architecture, and best practices.
- Deep knowledge of AWS or other cloud platforms such as Azure or Google Cloud.
- Extensive experience designing, developing, and maintaining SaaS applications.
- Proficiency with containerization and infrastructure as code using Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, or CloudFormation.
- Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL database systems and data architecture.
- Understanding of security best practices and frameworks.
- Proven ability to lead and mentor engineering teams and lead complex, large-scale projects.
- Experience with cloud, DevOps, or AI modernization initiatives.
- Strong understanding of LLMs, automation, and engineering toolchains.
- Strong communication, analytical, organizational, presentation, facilitation, and stakeholder-management skills.
