Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, manage, and optimize scalable Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud infrastructure for modern applications and AI/ML workloads.
  • Develop cloud solution architectures and business cases, including for generative AI initiatives, and collaborate with data engineering teams on pipelines and Databricks environments.
  • Enable and maintain infrastructure-as-code and automation practices using Terraform, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Docker, and Kubernetes.
  • Provide technical support, troubleshoot cloud issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventive measures.
  • Monitor cloud services, tune performance, optimize costs, and maintain reliable cloud operations.
  • Implement cloud security and compliance measures including firewalls, encryption, identity management, access controls, and data protection.
  • Lead cloud projects independently, engage senior management and executives, and maintain technical documentation and reports.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, information systems, business management, business analytics, business administration, or a directly related field from an accredited college or university.
  • At least seven years of progressively responsible and directly related work experience is required; ten years is preferred.
  • Proficiency with AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud and understanding of IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS cloud services.
  • Experience supporting generative AI models, machine learning workflows, cloud networking, automation, containerization, monitoring, performance optimization, and cloud security architecture.
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve complex cloud infrastructure issues, manage cloud projects, document cloud environments, and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and senior leaders.
