Base Salary
$225k - $275k/yr
Responsibilities
- Define test strategies and architectures for new controls features and systems.
- Translate requirements and system designs into test plans, test cases, and automation scripts.
- Read and analyze Simulink models, Stateflow charts, and generated or handwritten C code.
- Architect and maintain CI/CD pipelines for model builds, code generation, static analysis, and automated testing.
- Support toolchains that generate, compile, and deploy Simulink and MATLAB code across multiple targets, including HIL hardware.
- Build and maintain test automation frameworks using Python, scripting, MATLAB/Simulink, and CAPL.
- Execute MIL, SIL, HIL, and vehicle testing and analyze logs, telemetry, and vehicle CAN data.
- Provide developer infrastructure support to controls engineers and resolve tooling, build, and test-infrastructure issues.
- Collaborate with software, firmware, systems, and vehicle teams on integration issues, defect triage, and root-cause analysis.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, computer science, or a related engineering field.
- At least 5 years of experience in embedded or automotive test engineering or developer infrastructure roles.
- Ability to understand Simulink models, Stateflow charts, and generated or handwritten C code.
- Strong experience with MIL, SIL, HIL, and vehicle testing.
- Hands-on experience architecting and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, TeamCity, or similar tools.
- Experience with test automation and scripting in MATLAB, Python, CAPL, and Shell.
- Experience maintaining test frameworks as codebases evolve.
- Demonstrated experience with vehicle CAN networks, LIN, and UDS.
- Experience with debugging tools, telemetry analysis, and issue triage.
- Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
