Base Salary
$125k - $175k/yr
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Product, Design, Clinical, Data Science, and Software Engineering teams to build clinical tools and healthcare experiences.
- Develop and maintain full-stack applications using React, TypeScript, Java, RESTful APIs, Postgres, Kafka, and AWS.
- Build accessible user interfaces using WHOOP’s shared design system.
- Design and implement secure backend services and APIs for sensitive health information and scalable clinical workflows.
- Translate product requirements into technical solutions, identify risks, and deliver features iteratively.
- Write clean, tested, and maintainable code; participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices.
Requirements
- Experience building modern web applications with React and TypeScript.
- Experience developing backend services and RESTful APIs with Java or another object-oriented language.
- Experience working with relational databases such as Postgres.
- Experience building secure applications and understanding authentication, authorization, and protection of sensitive user data.
- Experience with modern frontend architecture, component libraries, and design systems.
- Experience writing automated tests and clear technical documentation.
- Strong problem-solving skills and interest in building scalable, user-focused software in a collaborative environment.
