Base Salary
$167k - $250k/yr
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with experts to enhance system reliability, efficiency, and safety.
- Design, develop, test, debug, and deploy software modules for self-driving systems.
- Create and implement a software framework for end-to-end automation of system validation.
- Develop fault-injection and reporting tools for safety validation.
- Work closely with autonomy teams to identify root causes and mitigate onboard issues.
- Spearhead efforts to identify potential sources of software defects in safety-critical software.
- Develop methods to evaluate properties of large codebases relevant to potential defects.
Requirements
- Strong system fundamentals and proficiency in C++.
- Extensive experience (5+ years) in developing production-quality software in C/C++ and Python.
- Experience in complex systems such as self-driving, robotics, or embedded Linux.
- Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
