Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain TypeScript applications across front-end and back-end systems.
- Architect scalable solutions and make technical decisions aligned with business objectives.
- Design and build distributed architectures, microservices, and APIs.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code using software design patterns and best practices.
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
- Mentor junior and mid-level developers and support their technical growth.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Optimize application performance, identify bottlenecks, and contribute to technical documentation and coding standards.
- Participate in sprint planning, standups, retrospectives, and other agile ceremonies.
Requirements
- 10+ years of professional software development experience.
- 5+ years of extensive production TypeScript experience.
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript fundamentals, ES6+, asynchronous programming, Node.js, and back-end TypeScript development.
- Extensive experience designing and building distributed architectures and microservices.
- Expert-level knowledge of API design principles, RESTful APIs, and/or GraphQL.
- Strong PostgreSQL proficiency, including schema design, query optimization, and performance tuning.
- Experience with Git and collaborative development workflows.
- Strong knowledge of testing frameworks such as Jest or Mocha.
- Excellent problem-solving, debugging, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Preferred qualifications include experience with Webpack, Vite, Rollup, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, Azure, GCP, monorepo tools such as Nx, Turborepo, or Lerna, open-source TypeScript contributions, advanced TypeScript features, design patterns, software architecture, and technical initiative leadership.
