Responsibilities
- Develop and lead technical expansion strategies for Snowflake’s customer portfolio in Korea.
- Connect customer business goals to workloads, use cases, and lines of business enabled by the Snowflake AI Data Cloud.
- Design and deliver demos and technical narratives optimized for customer architectures and use cases.
- Lead POCs and pilot projects, including success criteria definition and joint execution planning.
- Explain complex technical capabilities in clear business-value and ROI terms for nontechnical executives.
- Collaborate with Sales, Customer Success, Professional Services, Product, Partner, SI, ISV, and cloud-partner organizations.
- Relay customer feedback to Product and Engineering teams, especially for manufacturing and high-tech requirements.
- Represent Snowflake at customer workshops, executive briefings, industry events, and community meetings.
- Create and share presentations, reference architectures, playbooks, demos, and other technical content.
Requirements
- At least 10 years of experience in customer-facing solution engineering.
- Strong understanding of modern data stacks, ETL/ELT, data warehouses, data lakes, data science, generative AI, and data applications.
- Ability to communicate and present effectively to both technical stakeholders and executives through whiteboarding, structured presentations, and demos.
- Working-level expertise in SQL and Spark.
- Business-level English speaking, reading, and writing skills.
- Preferred experience building or operating large-scale cloud data and AI platforms.
- Preferred programming and scripting experience with Python, Java, or Spark.
- Preferred enterprise data and analytics platform sales or technical support experience.
- Preferred stakeholder management and value-based selling skills.
- A degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience with lakehouse architectures, data science, AI, machine learning, or generative AI projects is a bonus.
- Experience with Tableau, Power BI, AWS, Azure, GCP, S3, Glue, SageMaker, or Azure Data Factory is a bonus.
- Experience with OLAP data modeling, enterprise data architecture, manufacturing or high-tech industries, or enterprise SaaS solution sales is a bonus.
