Responsibilities
- Manage technical projects with automotive partners, guiding Android Auto and Digital Car Key planning and implementation.
- Provide technical leadership on Digital Car Key standards, secure element architecture, and Android Auto integration across vehicle platforms.
- Maintain and enhance Android Auto compatibility and platform updatability.
- Translate industry needs for Google Engineering and Product teams and inform strategic partnership decisions.
- Develop tools and processes to streamline partner engagements and ensure high product quality.
- Guide system planning, implementation, and certification while solving large-scale partner and integration problems.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Five years of experience troubleshooting technical issues for internal or external partners or customers.
- Experience with system design or reading code such as Java, C++, or Kotlin.
- Fluency in Korean, English, and Chinese for communication with internal and external stakeholders.
- Preferred: master’s degree or PhD.
- Preferred: experience presenting, communicating, and influencing external partners and cross-functional teams.
- Preferred: embedded system architecture and platforms such as Android or Linux.
- Preferred: technical consulting experience in the automotive field.
- Preferred: experience delivering and scaling projects across multiple products or workstreams.
